ThyroChoice

Last Updated on

When we recently came across ThyroChoice, a newly released high-end, “premium” thyroid support supplement, we thought that a lot of people, especially those with Hashimoto’s, would be curious to know whether or not it truly worked.

There are certainly some good, effective thyroid supplements on the market currently. As you probably know, we’ve reviewed a lot of them on Thyroid Advisor(which you can find in menu above or the link to the left.)

But there is room for improvement.

At least that seems to be the motive for the makers of ThyroChoice. Their thyroid supplement is currently on Amazon and the initial noise and first experiences with this product seem promising.

Let’s see if their claims live up to the supplement’s hype.

What Is ThyroChoice?

Choice matters for your thyroid.

These five words are found all over ThyroChoice’s website and their bottle. It seems to be the driving force behind this new thyroid supplement.

The statement itself is certainly true. Choices do matter. They matter in a lot of different ways, and of course, overall health is one of them. Thyroid health is no different.

Many patients often turn to thyroid supplements in order to naturally improve their thyroid conditions, but the large number of similarly ineffective supplements on the market today, make it certainly difficult to find the one’s that work. Many are loaded with fillers or other non-essentials that do not really support your thyroid.

ThyroChoice differs from this. Their formula is one of the ways they do this.

ThyroChoice’s formula is different from what we have seen thus far, and seems to support their claim that it is truly unique. It features 17 ingredients: Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, Niacin, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, L-Tyrosine, Ashwagandha, Guggulsterone, Rosemary, Curcumin, Bacopa Monnieri, and Methylsulfonylmethane.

As you noticed, for most of these ingredients, we have already researched and written articles about how they benefit the thyroid. It’s great and definitely a good sign that they included all of these important vitamins, minerals, and herbs that we have already verified the effects of, for the thyroid.

It very interesting to include these herbs in particular, Ashwagandha, Guggulsterone, Rosemary, Curcumin, and Bacopa. They are perhaps some of the most well known and studied herbs for thyroid health (if you click on the research articles, you’ll see all the studies for each ingredient.)

Most thyroid supplement, however, only include Ashwagandha and disregard the rest. ThyroChoice’s decision to include all these herbs, and large amounts of them too, will be a great benefit for those with thyroid disorders.

ThryoChoice Effects and Benefits

The formula of a supplement is important for it to have an effect on the patient, but perhaps whats even more important, is the bioavailability of the source itself. A supplement can have the best formula, but if all of the sources are synthetically created or non-absorbable by our bodies… it will have little to no effect.

Fortunately, this is not the case with ThyroChoice. In fact, ThyroChoice has some of the best bioavailable sources for their ingredients. Vitamin B12 for example, exists as Methylcobalamin, which our bodies can more easily absorb, then say cyanocobalamin.

Selenium is found as L-selenomethionine in ThyroChoice rather than the elemental chelate form.

Ashwagandha is also standardized. So that more of the active form is found in the supplement than just the powder or root (which could not contain a lot of withanolides.)

There are other examples as well with the other herbs, but hopefully you get the idea.

ThyroChoice does seem to have a higher potency than what we usually see. This in turn will result in a better thyroid supplement that has more of an effect on the patient. Combined with a great formula, ThyroChoice is positioning itself to be a great thyroid supplement.

With all the being said, not everything was totally positive about ThyroChoice.

Their decision to leave Iodine out of their formula may prove to be a bit controversial. As you likely know, Iodine is one of the most important minerals for the thyroid. You can click the previous link (if you want to read all about it.) The basic point – however – is that thyroid hormones need Iodine in order to be produced.

Thus, it would be expected that Iodine would be in thyroid supplements such as ThyroChoice. True, it is uncommon that someone living in the United States would be Iodine deficient today, but it is still a possibility.

On the other hand, perhaps ThyroChoice choose to not include Iodine in order to allow those with Hashimoto’s disease the opportunity to try the supplement. It’s no secret that patients with Hashimoto’s disease cannot take any supplement with Iodine, as it usually exacerbates their condition (see Thyroid Central’s article here about Iodine and Hashimoto’s Disease.)

Regardless of the reasons behind that, ThyroChoice is definitely an effective thyroid supplement. It can help those with thyroid dysfunction – but especially more so those with Hashimoto’s.

  • Lack of Iodine may prove to be bad for those who are deficient (but great for those with Hashimoto’s)

ThyroChoice Review and Experiences

There are not a lot of reviews of ThyroChoice (at least at the time of publishing this one) online quite yet. This will likely change in the near future as more patients try this thyroid supplement.

Whenever a new and different thyroid support supplement is released – especially one as great as ThyroChoice – it quickly catches the attention of those interested in resolving their thyroid issues naturally (our article here may also help with this.)

From our research and personal experiences, those that take ThyroChoice enjoy the way it supports their thyroid and makes them feel.

What we have seen is that it not only provides a noticeable boost in overall energy, but it also makes the person feel more motivated, after taking it for some time.

Increased productivity is not something we usually associate with ThyroChoice, but this trend is not surprising. ThyroChoice makes sure to say their a different kind of thyroid supplement – and that statement certainly rings true.

There is truly not any other thyroid support supplement like this on the market, today. And we’ve tried a lot of other thyroid supplements – so that’s saying a lot.

ThyroChoice is a premium thyroid supplement – and very surprisingly, its comes without the premium price tag. We’ve seen thyroid supplements that cost in the range of $50 for just one bottle!

At the time of this review, ThyroChoice is currently on sale for $23.00 from its usual listed price of $30.00. This is likely because it was just recently released (but hopefully will continue saying that cheap!)

The bottom line is that ThyroChoice is one of the best thyroid supplements we’ve ever tried.

With their 45-day money back guarantee, and the safety and security of purchasing from their exclusive offering on Amazon…. I can’t think of a reason why not to try it.

Let us know what you think after taking ThyroChoice!

One of the most inexpensive ones. Yet still works great for me.

ThyroChoice seems to be designed for hypothyroidism. It is definitely safe for hyperthyroidism patients as well, though hypothyroidism patients will benefit the most.

Karen, my doctor recommends Dulse for Iodine replacement. You can get it in the health food stores.

Does the iodine in a multivitamin enough for a person with hypothyroidism and would the rest of the multivitamin be too much with ThyroChoice?

I have follow up question. If I do take a multivitamin would just 1 ThyroChoice capsule be effective?
